Bus Route Information

Below you will find details regarding the bus routes for Darien 61.  The link below provides information on bus route times for typical school days as well as bus times during Late Start Days.  Please contact your school office if you have any questions.

Please note,  Alternate Bus Routes will remain as one option for use in the case of a situation where the district does not have enough drivers to cover the routes (if 2 or more drivers are out sick on one day for example).  If a situation were to occur, the district would communicate with the families involved and utilize one of the following options (depending on the circumstances):

  • Cancel one bus route for the day

  • Have one bus route picked up later in the morning and/or dropped off later after school

  • Implement the Alternate Bus Route Schedule for a period of time

  • Other option(s) as needed
