  • Medical Excuses

A note from home is needed for a student to sit out of physical education for two days.  If a child must be out for a longer period of time, a medical note from a doctor must be sent to school and filed with the school nurse.  Students will not be allowed to take physical education unless cleared by a doctor.

If an athlete is out of physical education they will not be allowed to practice that day.  They can go to practice but they can not practice.  Go to the Parent-Pupil Handbook for more information.

No child should be excused for more than three or four days without a specific request for such extension by a doctor.
